St.George College wins

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: St. George College, Aruvithura and Alphonsa College, Pala emerged champions in the men's and women's sections respectively in the 27 {+t} {+h} MG University inter-collegiate aquatic meet which concluded at the LNCPE swimming pool here on Wednesday.

St.George tallied 101 points to finish first ahead of St. Xavier's College (36 pts) and St.Thomas College Pala (30 pts).

In the women's section, Alphonsa College took the honours with 86 points followed by St.George College (65) and SJCPE, Moolamattom (20 pts).

St.George College won the Water polo title beating S.Thomas College, Pala in the final.
