THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Goods Transport Federation will review its decision to launch a strike from Friday at a meeting of its executive committee to be held in Kochi on Thursday. Leaders of the federation announced this after a meeting with Transport Minister Jose Thettayil here on Wednesday. The federation had earlier given notice for the strike to press for a revision in goods transportation rates in the context of the recent hike in prices of diesel and other petroleum products. The federation also wanted steps on the part of the government to end the “inconveniences the truck operators were being put through at the Walayar check-post.”
