Show-cause notice served on Konda Surekha
Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD: Cracking the whip against indiscipline, the Congress on Wednesday served a show-cause notice on former Minister Konda Surekha for her frequent outbursts against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K. Rosaiah and the party leadership.
K. Satyanarayana Raju, Chairman of the APCC's Disciplinary Action Committee, said, “We have asked her to reply to the show-cause within a week why action should not be initiated against her for the critical remarks.”
Ms. Surekha paid the price for dashing off an 11-page letter to AICC president Sonia Gandhi listing out the failures of the Congress government and highlighting the political vacuum after YSR's death.
