CHENNAI: Ramit Tandon set the path for India's 2-1 victory over France in the 5-8 play-off match at the World junior squash team championships at Quito in Ecuador. France went one up after its top seed Lucas Serme defeated Aditya Jagtap in straight games. Ramit Tandon, however, pulled one back for India, also with a straight-game win over Damien Volland. Ramit showcased a brilliant display of drops from all over the court. In the decider, Ravi Dixit after winning the first game lapsed in concentration in the second game, which he lost but managed to regain his focus and win his match convincingly in the fourth game against Arthur Moineau. India will play New Zealand next for the fifth position.
