YSCA retains title

CHENNAI: YSCA retained the Kalpathi-YSCA cricket tournament title by defeating Sutherland Global Services by eight wickets in the final here on Sunday.

The scores:

F inal : Sutherland Global Services 56 in 17.4 overs (D. Manoj three for 23, S. Balaji three for nine) lost to YSCA 60 for two in 13 overs (N. Satish 40 n.o.). Player of the match: D. Manoj .

Sujith's effort in vain

N.G. Sujith's effort (six for 46) went in vain as Delphi TVS beat CVRDE by 98 runs in the Lucas TVS-TDCA trophy tournament.

TNCA-Thiruvallur DCA league: II Division: Parthasarathy MCC 151 in 28.3 overs (V. R. Vasanth Kumar 38, P. N. Rahgav 26, Manoj 26, C. Sathya Kumar three for 19) lost to Wheels India RC 152 for nine in 29.2 overs (D. Alexander 37, V. Kailash five for 45)

Lucas TVS-TDCA Trophy: Delphi TVS 159 in 22.4 overs (Y. Ashwath 56, N. G. Sujith six for 46) beat CVRDE 61 in 19.5 overs (S. Krishnakumar five for 24) .

RKM posts win

K. Rathnasabapathy's all-round show was the feature of RKM (Main) HSS' six-wicket win over St John's (Baba Nagar) in a match in the U-14 SMCA-Independence Cup tournament.

Don Bosco MHSS 116 for eight in 25 overs (A. Sarath Raj 41, V.N.R. Ajith Varma 27 not out) bt DAV SSS (Gopalapuram) 107 in 24.4 overs (S. Prasanavenkatesh 28, Anton Andrew three for 29);

Easy for Little Hearts

S. Paramesh Athaya's well-compiled unbeaten 94 and P. Thushanth's good bowling (five for 27) helped Little Hearts CA beat Swastik Cricket Promoters by 111 runs in the U-12 CSCA-super league here on Sunday.
