Highest The 98.4 and 94.7 decibels recorded at Pattabhipuram at 5 p.m and 9 p.m on the above date were the highest among the four places where monitoring was done by APPCB engineers, Lok Satta district co-convener N Aravind stated in a press release on behalf of the residents (of Pattabhipuram). Loud speakers, places of worship and air horns were causing high levels of noise whose affects on adults and children were well known.
