From there they were shifted to the MKCG medical college hospital in the city.

In the other accident that occurred near Sindurpur village under Patapur police station two persons were charred to death when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling burnt up when it contacted with high voltage electricity supply wire. The two victims were Panchanan Gouda (45) of Dolagam village, who happened to be the driver of the vehicle and Krushna Chandra Padhi (25) of Podamari. One person seriously injured in the accident has been admitted in the MKCG medical college hospital. This ill-fated autorickshaw fitted with a music system and lights was escorting a group ‘Bol Bom' devotees to a Shiva temple near Sindurpur. This group had collected their water from Ghodahada river. High intensity lights were fixed to metal bar fixed to the autorickshaw. The accident occurred at around 5.30 a.m. on Sunday when this metal rod touched overhead high voltage power supply cable. The electrocuted vehicle caught fire and two victims were charred to death.
