Mithran Devanesan is dead

CHENNAI: Mithran Devanesan, Chennai-based theatre personality, died here on Monday morning, after a battle with cancer. He was 61.

All-rounder

Mr. Devanesan, who was born in 1949, was involved in the theatre circle for about 35 years.

He had been involved in different aspects of theatre, including direction and stage management.

He is survived by his wife Nanda and daughters Sumitha and Ashima.
