30 kids to find new families

BANGALORE: The Applied Materials Foundation of Applied Materials Inc. will sponsor family homes for 30 children, a school bus and solar-powered lights for the main avenue of a village near here by partnering with SOS Children's Villages of India.

A press release from Applied Materials said that since its inception in 1989, 368 children have found new homes, of which 63 are leading a settled life.

Another 305 children are living with families at SOS Children's Village, Bangalore.
