Run for health

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A ‘run for health' under the aegis of the Kerala Federation of Senior Citizens Association will be held here on Sunday.

More than 150 association members are scheduled to participate in the run, along with 300 students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.

The run will begin from Vellayambalam at 8.55 a.m. and conclude at the Museum grounds.

A press note issued here said the run would be flagged off by the head of the royal family of erstwhile Travancore Uthradom Tirunal Marthanda Varma.

Participants above the age of 80 would be felicitated before the run gets under way.
