MYSORE: The Students' Federation of India (SFI) has accused the Mysore City Corporation (MCC) of double standards in issuing permission for display of buntings and banners for public rallies and political conventions in the city. In a press release issued here on Friday, the SFI said buntings and banners of the SFI were pulled down by the MCC in the run up to its South India Study Convention held in the city recently. The MCC justified its action stating that banners could not be displayed at all places and there were regulations governing the same.
