HYDERABAD: Enjoying music even while on the move was her passion but it cost the life of software engineer, Mohini Shanti Priya, at Fatehnagar in Sanathnagar, on Friday morning. The 23-year-old woman started for office from her home at Sananthangar around 9 a.m. She was crossing the railway track while enjoying music from her mobile phone using ear phones when the accident occurred. “Apparently, she could not hear hooting of the approaching MMTS train and was hit by it,” V. Madhusudhan Rao, Sub-Inspector of Nampally railway police, told reporters. The techie suffered multiple fractures. Death was instant for her. Police inquiries revealed that Priya had completed B.Tech recently and was working as a software engineer in a private firm. Two knocked down A three-year-old girl and her neighbour were knocked down by a MMTS train at Begumpet on Thursday night. Police said Ashwini was going to purchase chocolates along with her neighbour Ravi, 30, when the mishap occurred.
