Manipuri militants sent to judicial custody

New Delhi: A Delhi court on Friday sent five members of a banned Manipuri militant outfit, allegedly involved in bomb explosions, firing and extortion in the North-Eastern State, to 14 days' judicial custody.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sunil Chaudhary remanded Langian alias Manocha, Maiban Radheyshyam, Sapam Samnanda Singh, Sagolshen Samanda and Lingathoujam Geetchandra alias Kalu to judicial custody till August 27.

All five are alleged to be the members of the banned Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup. - PTI
