All India tennis tourney from Monday
KOCHI: The Malabar Cements-RSC AITA Talent Series all-India ranking tennis tournament begins at the Regional Sports Centre courts, Kadavanthra, on Monday.
Competitions for under-12 and under-14 boys and girls, in singles and doubles, will be held in the five-day event.
The qualifying rounds will be played at the RSC's synthetic courts on Sunday and the main-round matches begin the next day. Over a hundred players are expected to take part.
The sign-in for the qualifying rounds is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Sunday while the main draw sign-in is from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. the same day. The tournament is jointly organised by the Regional Sports Centre and the Ernakulam District Tennis Association.
