Protest against bar
Visakhapatnam: Residents of Ayyappaswamy temple area in Sheela Nagar protested against establishment of a bar between the temple and Vikas Vidya Niketan. The residents said in spite of a petition submitted by them and school management to authorities concerned to cancel the bar's licence, the bar was inaugurated on Monday.
Book released
Jesus Smruthulu, written by Chikkala Krishna Rao was released by Chaitanya here on Monday. Chandu Subba Rao reviewed the book.
Title conferred
HoD of English of Andhra University Prasanna Sri was conferred Akshara Brahma title by SBI AGM Ram Prasad during ‘Amma Thuje Salaam' programme organised by the Krushi Orthopaedic Society on Sunday. Secretary N.V.S. Kiran Kumar, HoD of Orthopaedics of KGH Uday Kumar and others were present.
