Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD: District Collector Natarajan Gulzar asked petitioners to bring their ration cards to avail housing, pension and various other State schemes . He was responding to a request from a woman who wanted a house to be sanctioned without a ration card. Presiding over a meeting to resolve problems of the general public here on Monday, the Collector asked officials to look into sanctioning disability pension to one Ibrahim of Malakpet, a person with disability with three children to support. He ordered officials for immediate action and ensure two widows, Saheb Bi and Lakshmi of Asif Nagar, be covered under National Family Benefit Scheme. Officials concerned were also asked to look into another appeal by a widow who sought to be covered under widow pension scheme.
The Collector also distributed cheques of Minority Finance Corporation to small traders for general stores (Rs.60,000) and photocopy machines (Rs.50,000).
