TIRUVURU: Three children, including two boys and a girl, aged between 10 and 12 years, were found living on their own after they were allegedly left without care by the organisers of private children's home called “Nireekshan Ashramam” here on Tuesday. The local people said that the organisers of the home, Venkat and Swaroopa Rani, left for Hyderabad about 15 days back with about 10 children. The organisers were believed to have been shifting the inmates of the home to Hyderabad in phases during the last two months. After the last few children were shifted, three children were asked to stay back. On receiving information from the local people, the Revenue officials reached the place and shifted the children to a government home. The police said that the investigation was on to identify the organisers. When contacted, an official of the Women Development and Child Welfare Department pleaded ignorance of the incident and said that she would gather details on Wednesday.
