Guntur: Guntur-based Tulasi Seeds Private Limited has won national award for its R&D activities in micro and small enterprises category for 2009. Company chairman Tulasi Ramachandra Prabhu will receive the award from President Pratibha Patil at a function in New Delhi on August 31. The award was instituted by the Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. This is the first time that Tulasi Seeds got selected for the national award in R&D, Managing Director Yogesh Chandra told media persons here on Tuesday.
