Parle launches wafers

COIMBATORE: Parle Products has launched potato wafers in the Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

B. Krishna Rao, Group Product Manager, told presspersons here recently that Parle was already in the confectionary and biscuit segments. Parle's Wafers were available in four main flavours: classic salted, cream and onion, tangy tomato, and masala masti. These were availably in packets of Rs. 5, Rs. 10 and Rs. 20. The company had a production capacity of 1,000 tonnes a month.
