BELLARY: Preparations are in full swing for the last of the fifth Jana Jagruti Samavesha of the BJP to counter the Naada Rakshana Nadige of the Congress, to be held at the Municipal School Grounds here on Friday. In addition, there are two more functions to be held on the same day. It will the second biggest convention to be held in the city in 12 days with the first being organised by the Congress against illegal mining on August 9. A gigantic stage is getting ready at the venue to accommodate a host of senior party leaders and Ministers, including Sushma Swaraj, BJP Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Chief Minister B.S. Yeddurappa, senior leader and MP H.N. Ananth Kumar, party president K.S. Eshwarappa, participating in the convention. It coincides with the mass marriage being organised by the BJP leaders. G. Janardhan Reddy, Minister for Tourism, and B. Sriramulu, Health Minister, oversaw the arrangements being made.
