Siwan: A local court on Wednesday framed charges against the RJD MP from Maharajganj Uma Shankar Singh and his son Jitendra Swami in the murder case of the JD(U) MLA Damador Singh's brother Bharat Singh ten years ago. The Additional District Judge R.N. Tiwari framed the charges under section 302 (Murder) and 201 (Kidnapping) of the IPC against Singh and his son. The police had earlier filed a charge-sheet in the court charging the RJD MP and his son with being responsible for the kidnapping and murder of the JD(U) MLA's brother. -- PTI
