Court adjourns Jayalalithaa's petition

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Thursday adjourned further hearing of a petition by the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa questioning an order of a lower court of Bangalore.

The lower court, she said, had dismissed her application in which she had questioned the correctness of the translated documents.

She said when the wealth case in which she is a party was transferred from Chennai to Bangalore, all documents were translated from Tamil to English.

She said the translation was not accurate and that there were a lot of mistakes.
