Adilabad DIC official in ACB net

HYDERABAD: Tenali Anand Kumar, general manager, District Industries Centre, Adilabad, was trapped by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Thursday when he allegedly demanded and accepted Rs. 50,000 as bribe from one Jadav Pavan Kumar.
The complainant, Mr. Kumar, had approached him for the release of subsidy for purchasing a tipper and a poclain machine, an ACB press release said. The tainted amount was recovered. Earlier, the ACB had registered a case against the officer when he was working as Deputy Director in Srikakulam district and it is presently under trial.
