Techie killed in road accident

HYDERABAD: Two persons, including a software engineer died in separate road accidents in the city and its suburbs on Wednesday.

A software engineer was crushed to death under the wheels of a water tanker near Hi-Tec City railway station. K. Rakesh (23) of KPHB was returning home when the tanker rammed his motorcycle leading to serious injuries.

Rakesh died while undergoing treatment at a corporate hospital. The victim, hailing from Warangal district, was working in a software company at Madhapur.

In a separate incident, a 27-year-old man died after a tractor hit the scooter he was riding at Imamguda in Hayathnagar. Two of his relatives escaped with injuries. The victim has been identified as D. Ravinder alias Raju.
