HC registry pulled up for not posting case
Staff Reporter
BANGALORE: Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court J.S. Khehar on Thursday came down heavily on the Registry of the High Court for failing to post a case despite instructions.
The Chief Justice and Justice Manjula Chellur had on Wednesday orally asked the Registry to post a case before it on Thursday.
The Bench on Thursday found that the case had not been posted before it. Incensed over the failure of the branch to post the case, the Chief Justice summoned the section head and took him to task. The Chief Justice said it was the duty of the branch to post a case when it is so ordered by a court. He warned the Registry not to repeat the mistake.
