RAJAHMUNDRY: Abdul Hamid Omar Abba (50), the kingpin in girl trafficking to Dubai and who was deported to India on August 3 was sent to three days police custody by a Kakinada court. With his arrest the Eluru police hopes to crack down on agents involved in trafficking in the district and other southern States. The issue came to light when two sisters lodged a complaint with the Mandapeta police station of East Godavari about girl trafficking by two locals and others from Chennai, Vellore, according to the DIG, Eluru Range, Mahesh M. Bhagawat.
