Tirupur: Power supply in areas under Santhaipettai, Arulpuram and Kumaran Road sub-stations will be disrupted between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday (August 21). Santhaipettai sub-station: Palladam road, Aramanaiputhur, Thennampalayam, Thattanthottam, M. G. Pudur, Kallankadu, Karuvampalayam, K. V. R. Nagar, Poochaikadau, Mangalam road, Periyar Colony, Velliyangadu, Gopal Nagar, Karattangadu, A.B.T. Nagar, Government hospital, Sherif Colony and Dharapuram road. Kumaran Road sub-station: Alangadu, Rayapuram, Palayakadu, Valipalayam, Sabapathipuram. Arulpuram sub-station: Arulpuram, Thaneerpandhal, Ganapathipalayam, Senthurcolony, Krishnapuram, SIDCO Estate, Kumkuma- palayam, Upilipalayam, Chennimalaipalayam, Lakshmi Nagar and Anna Nagar. In Coimbatore In Coimbatore on August 24, there will be no power supply in the following areas from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to shutdown at Madukkarai sub-station for maintenance work, according to a press release from the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board: KG Chavady, Palathurai, Bypass Road, AG Pathy, Kuniamuthur, Athupalam and Madukkarai.
