Swine flu: 23 test positive

HYDERABAD: Cases of swine flu in the State Capital and elsewhere in the State continue to get reported even as health authorities on Friday maintained that no fatalities were reported in the last 24-hours.

Of the 67 samples sent to Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM), 23 samples tested positive for swine flu, health authorities confirmed.

Except for nine patients, the rest of the persons who tested positive for H1N1 belong to twin cities.

According to the authorities, the 23 patients were admitted to various hospitals in twin cities.
