New Delhi: Northern Railway will run special trains between New Delhi and Palwal to clear extra rush of passengers during the upcoming Raksha Bandhan and Janamashtami festivals. The NP-2/NP-1 New Delhi-Palwal-New Delhi Raksha Bandhan special will run on August 24. It will depart from New Delhi at 10-10 a.m. and reach Palwal at 11-50 a.m. On the way back, it will leave Palwal at 4 p.m. and reach New Delhi at 5-35 p.m. The Janamashtami Special will run from September 1 to 3 with the same number between New Delhi and Palwal. The special festival trains will stop at Shivaji Bridge, Tilak Bridge, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Okhla, Tughalakabad, Faridabad, Faridabad Town, Ballabhgarh and Asaoti in both directions.
