BSNL mega mela extended

Coimbatore: The mega mela by the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has been extended from August 23 to 31 in view of the overwhelming response from the public.

A release said that the special features of the mela would be free BSNL SIM cards, free 3G SIM cards available in Coimbatore and Tirupur city areas, free Nokia mobile handset prize in lucky draw, free ITC card worth Rs. 100 for each broadband booking, installation charges waiver for booking of new landline, wireless in local loop and broadband connections up to September 30, EVDO card with SIM Rs. 3,039, 3G data card at Rs. 2,500, sale of 3G set for Rs. 6,500, fixed wireless phone for Rs. 2,184 and other discount offers. The mela would be conducted in all the customer service centres of BSNL.

The mela could be utilised by the subscribers for resolving their grievances, if any, such as non-working of lines, broadband, delay in shift, billing disputes, delay in settlement of accounts and non-receipt of bills, the release added.
