Gautam claims five wickets

Bangalore: K. Gautam's five-wicket haul helped Bangalore City gain a 170-run first-innings lead over Combined City in an S.A. Srinivasan Trophy under-22 tournament match that concluded in a draw here on Sunday.

The scores:

Bangalore City 319 for nine in 90 overs (D.V. Anish 30, Gautam 29, Gopinath Sandra 27, Harish Urs three for 80) and 72 for one in 18 overs (Mayank Agarwal 31, Hanumantharaju 25 n.o.) drew with Combined City 149 in 45 overs (Manjunath 29, K. Gautam five for 40, D.V. Anish three for 30).

Combined Moffusil 127 in 43.3 overs drew with Bangalore Zone 180 for nine in 71.4 overs (Pavan Deshpande 32, P. Magizhenden 29 n.o., Stallin Hoover 28, Daniel three for 15, Zahoor Farooqi three for 47).

Moffusil 328 in 81.3 overs (M. Gurudeep 45, Shreyas Gopal three for 44, Prabhakar three for 45) drew with President's XI 254 in 80.4 overs (Shreyas Gopal 68, Dinesh Borwankar 57, H.S. Adarsh 27, H.S. Sharath four for 78, Parappa Mordi four for 84).
