GITAM's first convocation on August 28

VISAKHAPATNAM: GITAM University is making elaborate arrangements to organise its convocation in a big way on August 28.

This will be the first convocation of GITAM after it was accorded university status by the Univesity Grants Commission (UGC). The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman , Space Commission Chairman, Secretary to Department of Space in the Government of India K. Radhakrishnan, will deliver the convocation address. GITAM University's honorary doctorate will be awarded to him on the occasion.

GITAM University President Dr. M.V.V.S. Murthi will preside over the convocation.
