One-stop centre for all information

Staff Correspondent

Chitradurga: The Information, Education and Communication (IEC) sector meant for educating people about the various schemes of the Government, has failed to meet the objective. We need to reach out to people in a effective manner, said Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Agatha Sangma. Ms. Agatha Sangma was speaking after inaugurating the first of its kind information centre in the country set up at the zilla panchayat office here on Thursday. She said that the centre should be replicated in other parts of the country to ensure that the Government projects reach beneficiaries.
