SCR clarifies on naming of ‘Matribhoomi'

HYDERABAD: Responding to “reports in certain sections of press” about the naming of the MMTS ladies services to be introduced between Falaknuma and Lingampalli, the South Central Railway sought to clarify that the name ‘Matribhoomi' had been announced by the Union Minister of Railways Mamata Bannerjee in parliament along with other trains such as ‘Karmabhoomi', ‘Janmabhoomi' and ‘Bharath Tirth'.
