Mysore: Centre-forward Munirathnamma of DYSS, Mysore hogged the limelight on the third -day of the all-India invitation hockey tournament for women by scoring 14 goals in her team's 22-0 win over a hapless K.D.O. Hubli in their Group 'B' league tie played at the University grounds here on Thursday. Munirathnamma's inspirational play spelt doom to her rivals and she scored in the 8th, 9th, 12th, 24th, 25th, 26th, 30th, 35th, 41st, 44th, 46th, 47th, 48th & 50th minutes. P.G. Muthamma (1st & 5th min.), Ranjitha (4th & 39th min.), Lakshmi (15th), S.P.WSandhya (16th) and B.S.Harinakshi (49th) and S.Prema (22nd min.) were the other scorers. The results:League: Group A: Bellary bt Sports School, Kudige 5-1; Jhansi bt Hassan 2-0; Hassan bt Kovilpatti XI 4-0; SAI, Madikeri bt Bellary 8-0; Jhansi bt Kovilpatti 11-0. Group B: DYSS, Mysore bt Ananthpur Hockey Academy 7-0; Sports School, Ponnampet drew K.D.O. Hubli 1-1; DYSS, Mysore bt K.D.O., Hubli 22-0; SAI, Chennai bt Ananthpur Hockey Academy 3-2 .
