Baghdatis rallies

NEW HAVEN (Connecticut): Top seed Marcos Baghdatis bounced back to beat Argentina's Juan Ignacio Chela 1-6, 6-3, 6-2 on Wednesday to reach the quarterfinals of the Pilot Pen U.S. Open hardcourt tune-up.

Meanwhile in doubles, Rohan Bopanna and his Pakistani partner Aisam-ul-Haq Quereshi stunned fourth seeded Poles Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Martin Matkowski 6-3, 2-6, 10-5 in the first round to secure a quarterfinal berth.
