SALEM: The Salem Branch of Southern India Regional Council of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India will conduct an All Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry Chartered Accountants Conference on the theme “Reflection on the Future,” here on August 28. The Conference will be presided over by G. Goudhaman, Chairman, Salem Branch, while S.S. Palanimanickam, Union Minister of State for Finance, will be the chief guest. Dr. K. Arthanari, MD, Sri Gokulam Hospitals Private Limited, Salem and Babu Abraham Kallivayalil, Chairman, Southern India Regional Council, will be guests of honour. Sessions Senior Supreme Court Advocate V. Lakshmi Kumaran, Past President of ICAI, New Delhi, Kamlesh Vikamsey, Senior Advocate from Hyderabad Sampath Raghunathan and M.P. Vijay Kumar from Chennai will address the sessions on Service Tax, Limited Liability Partnership, Recent Judicial Judgments under Direct Taxes and International Financial Reporting Standards respectively. It is expected that more than 400 Chartered Accountants from various places of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry will participate in the conference co-hosted by the branches of Madurai, Coimbatore, Erode, Kumbakonam, Pondicherry, Tirupur, Tiruchirapalli, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin and Vellore and Hosur CPE Study Circle of SIRC of ICAI.
