PANAJI: Chief Election Commissioner S.Y. Quraishi will inaugurate a one-day symposium on “Sharing Best Electoral Practices” at the International Centre Goa at Dona Paula on Monday.

Director-General (IEC) Akshay Raut, told presspersons here on Sunday that Election Commissioner V.S. Sampath would also participate in the seminar.

The topics that will be covered during the symposium are “Innovative practices in election management”, “Challenges in the management of electoral roll” and “Election expenditure and related issues”.

He said that Mr. Qurashi would also inaugurate a photo exhibition earlier in the day.
