‘Syllabus should include topics on culture, personality development'

SIRSI: Education is not only about studying various subjects. The syllabus should also include topics on culture and personality development, said Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri after inaugurating additional rooms at the higher primary school at Sirsimakki, near Sirsi, on Saturday.

President of the Yadalli Gram Panchayat Shobha Bhat, who was the chief guest, said that the Minister had set an example by sending his children to government schools.

President of the Sirsi Taluk Panchayat Sadanand Bhat presided over the function.
