HYDERABAD: Writers in the State were not getting necessary financial assistance from the Government and philanthropists and as a result the field of literature was suffering with lack of writings, former Governor of Karnataka V.S. Ramadevi felt here on Sunday. Speaking at the Second International Women Writers' Literary Meet organised by Vanguri Foundation of America, she stated that language was not flourishing due to insufficient writings.

No funding

While other State governments were providing funds for taking up literary works, Andhra Pradesh government was not doing it. Former Vice-Chancellor of Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University A.
