SALEM: Four students of a private polytechnic college near Talavasal in Attur block, travelling on the foot-board of a private bus, were killed when the vehicle collided sideways against a lorry near Deviakuruchi village late Saturday evening. The students got trapped between the two vehicles and were crushed to death. The dead were identified as R. Vinodkumar (19) and A. Mani (20), both of Melnariappanur; K. Pradap (18) of Anumandalkuppam and Gopalakrishnan (18) of Periyatirungur. B. Prabhakaran (18) of Koogaiyur was admitted to the Salem Government Medical College Hospital. Ten other passengers who suffered minor injuries were admitted to Attur Government Hospital.
