BSNL loyalty SIM cards on offer

Staff Reporter

ALAPPUZHA: The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited's free loyalty prepaid mobile connections for its landline customers, which will have numbers similar to those of the existing landline phones, will now be available from all telephone exchanges, customer service centres and the General Manager's office at the Pichu Iyer Junction here.

Prepaid

According to BSNL Alappuzha general manager T. Natarajan, customers who have been using BSNL landlines for at least three years can apply for the free 2G prepaid SIM connections, from which all calls to the landline number held by the customer will be free.

The last five digits of the landline number, if available, will be given for the prepaid mobile connection.

Those interested will have to submit an application along with a passport size photo, copy of the electoral identity card and the latest landline bill, he added.
