BSNL launches ‘786' plan

VISAKHAPATNAM: The number ‘786' has a special place in the hearts of devout Muslims. They consider it a lucky number in view of its religious significance.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has come out with a recharge voucher for prepaid mobile customers in connection with festive season of Ramzan and Id-ul-Fitr.

Unique feature

“The unique feature of this plan is that the recharge voucher is priced at Rs. 786 (including service tax), the free usage value is Rs. 786 (to any network) and the value of free SMS is Rs. 786 (local/national),” says Assistant General Manager (EB) B. Ravindra Kumar.

The recharge voucher is valid for 180 days and is applicable to all existing customers of 2G and 3G prepaid plans.

The special tariff plan will be available for 30 days only with effect from September 1.
