Three devotees drown in canal

Jaipur: Three devotees were drowned in a canal while taking a bath in Phalodi district of Rajasthan's Jodhpur district on Friday.

“The incident occurred on Friday morning when four persons were taking the bath in the canal but slipped into deep water. One of them was rescued immediately by locals present at the spot but three drowned,” SHO Phalodi Omprakash said.

The victims were on their way to attend Baba Ramdev fair in Jaisalmer. The deceased have been identified as Ramswaroop (23), Lumbaram (20) and Mehraram (18).
