Men's team wins gold

KOLKATA: India ended the World Cup archery Stage IV at Shanghai on a high, winning one gold, one silver and a bronze on Saturday. The Indian men's recurve team won the gold, beating Japan by 224 points to 220.

Teenager Deepika Kumari went down to Korea's Bo Bae Ki 29-27, 29-27, 28-28, 30-27 to settle for silver in the senior category. Jayanta Talukdar won the men's individual recurve bronze medal, beating Marco Galiazzo of Italy 28-29, 30-26, 28-28, 29-27, 28-27 in the play-off.
