Kolkata: The third edition of the Kolkata Fashion Week (KFW), due to begin here next week in its new avatar as “Indian Fashion Carnival”, has been postponed indefinitely. “The event has been postponed for the time being due to certain unavoidable circumstances and operational difficulties, but we promise to return to you soon to announce the new dates for the Indian Fashion Carnival,” said Pratik Sen, Director of Mindscapes One, the organisers of the event, in a statement on Saturday. With the spotlight on Mahatma Gandhi and khadi, the three-day event slated for a September 10 beginning was billed as the city's biggest fashion extravaganza.
