Several athletes and coaches felicitated

GUNTUR: The country has talented athletes who can win laurels if given enough support, said Superintendent of Police, Guntur Urban, D.S Chauhan, here on Saturday.

Speaking at the inaugural of the 22nd National Inter-Zonal Athletics Championship on the premises of Acharya Nagarjuna University, Mr. Chuhan, who is also the president of the Guntur District Athletic Association (GDAA), said track and field events presented an opportunity to showcase individual brilliance and pointed out that athletics events of this nature threw up raw talent from the hinterlands of the country.
