Udupi: The Lokayukta police on Saturday trapped an officer and a clerk of the Department of Weights and Measures, and three agents while accepting a bribe of Rs. 1,600 here, according to a press release. The names of the trapped persons have been given as Raghavendra K. Koppar (officer), V. Krishna (clerk) and agents Akbar, Ibrahim and Gopal Poojary. The action was taken following a complaint lodged from Ahmed Kabeer, a resident of Uchila village in Udupi district, the press release said.
