We need Maudany for locating accused: police

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The Bangalore city police have not recovered any material evidence related to the 2008 Bangalore serial blasts from PDP Chairman Abdul Nasir Maudany after his arrest on August 17.

“From him we want to know the locations of the other accused, who are absconding,” said public prosecutor K. Rudraswamy. Resuming his arguments opposing Mr. Maudany's bail application on Wednesday, Mr. Rudraswamy said Mr. Maudany had been in regular touch with all the accused named in the serial blasts. He was submitting his arguments before Fifth Fast Track Sessions Court Judge Srikant Watawati.
