Srikrishna panel to ‘show a range of solutions'

Staff Reporter

NIZAMABAD: V.K. Duggal, Member-Secretary of the Srikrishna Committee, said the committee will show a range of solutions to the Union government on the complex demands for a separate Telangana and a unified Andhra Pradesh.

Emphasising that the committee will not make any single recommendation, he said the panel comprising reputed experts will submit a credible and logical report. “We will not take sides with any region. The recommendations we make will be such that they would be extremely useful and serve human purpose,” he said.

Field visits

Accompanied by the committee members, Ranbir Singh and Ravinder Kaur, Mr. Duggal was addressing a press conference here on Wednesday after field visits in Gannaram and Srinagar villages in the district.
